Playplain Terms

Last updated October 21, 2026. Playplain Online is a free game for curiosity and entertainment.

Using the game

You may play and share your own result summaries. Scores are local game results, not a verified competition, and have no monetary value. Browser storage can be cleared or altered; we do not promise permanent or synchronized progress.

Facts and accuracy

The game uses dated, attributed factual snapshots. Values can differ between references because of methodology, units, rounding or publication date. Read the source notes and use the original source for research or consequential decisions.

Independent work and attribution

This independently built game is inspired by Plain. We do not represent the operators of playplain.app or playplain.org. Our daily challenges and scores are separate. Third-party data remains subject to the attribution and license terms identified on the sources page; no endorsement by those data providers is implied.

Availability and changes

The service may change, be interrupted or be discontinued. We aim to preserve published daily challenges, but browser behavior and corrections can affect saved progress. Nothing here removes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Read the privacy notice for storage and analytics, or return to the rules before your next flight.
